Emily Winston's Beech Street Littles is a play based, child guided, and mixed age (2 - 6 years) home child care program with a strong emphasis on the outdoors and nature.
Teaching is highly influenced by both Reggio and Montessori approaches and is grounded in the principles and ethics of Anti-Bias teaching.
Every child and family that walks through my door will feel supported, loved, and valued as part of the Beech Street Littles community!

I teach with humor, respect, and patience, encouraging children to be respectful to themselves, others, and nature. My multi-age environment cultivates a healthy social atmosphere. It gives the older children pride and confidence by mentoring their younger friends, and offers the younger ones opportunities to learn from their older peers. They all leave here with a deep understanding of themselves, compassion for others, and confidence to move through the world.”
